If any user has already installed an aid-blocker software to stop ads, then he will not be able to watch the video content.

Youtube has told in its blog post that CTV users will no longer be able to see two advertisements of 15-15 seconds continuously. Instead, they will get to see a single non-skippable ad of 30 seconds. The YouTube platform has also said that this new change will help YouTube’s selected advertisers to show ads as per their wishes.

Users using an Ad-block feature, will not be able to see content on YouTube

YouTube is about to bring a new feature to stop those users, who have already installed ad-block software to block advertisements coming on YouTube. Users, who have not taken YouTube premium subscription service, and have installed ad-blocker software for advertisements coming on YouTube, will not be able to watch YouTube content under any circumstances.

If users want to see the content then they have to first allow YouTube ads. For this they have to remove ad-blocker software. Now while watching content, they have to watch non-skippable ads.

A new way of displaying ads on Youtube

Apart from Non-skippable ads, YouTube is also introducing a new way to display ads on its platform. This new feature will work only when the user pauses a video. In this, the video will be limited to a small screen and an advertisement will be played just next to it.

The ad will also come with a “Dismiss” option that will allow users to replay the video. However, the user can also hit the play button to resume the video.

YouTube also planning to bring “NFL Creator of the Week” on the NFL’s YouTube channel, which is a new original Shorts series. It will come later this year.
