- Open WhatsApp
- Go to the particular chat which you want to Edit.
- Tap and hold on to that chat (message).
- Now select the Edit option from the menu items.
- Do changes to what you want to edit.
- Now tap on Done.
Now your changes on that particular message (chat) will be saved and your edited message will be seen in the conversation (the receiver will be able to see that you have edited this message).
This feature is only available for 15 minutes after sending the message the first time. If you are not able to change it within 15 minutes, then you will never be able to edit this chat message because this edit option will disappear forever for that chat (message).
How to delete chat on WhatsApp
If you don’t want to edit then you can delete the chat. Let’s see how to delete the chat.
- Open WhatsApp.
- Go to the particular chat which you want to delete.
- Long press on a particular chat and tap on Delete. It will delete the chat from your end. But if want to delete for both ends then select and tap on Delete then tap on Delete for Everyone.
