Microsoft has launched a new feature (Phone Link for iOS). With the help of this, users can easily connect Windows 11 PC to iPhones. With the help of this feature, users will also be able to access calls, messages, and contacts easily. Let’s know about it in detail.

Microsoft company is known for its Windows operating system. While doing an add-on in this episode, Microsoft is going to roll out the Phone Link for iOS feature for its Windows users. With the help of this feature, users will be able to connect their Windows PC to their iPhones.

However, such a feature is already rolled out by Microsoft for Android users. Android users are getting all facilities using this Phone Link feature. Even users can easily control their installed phone apps from Windows 11 desktop screen.

What Users Will Get

Microsoft said that users will get only basic facilities in the iOS version for now. Such features are:

• Users will be able to connect their Windows 11 PC to their iPhones for accessing calls, messages, and contacts.
• The Phone Link for iOS feature has also been integrated with iCloud Photos. With the help of this, users will be able to see only iCloud pictures on Windows 11 PC.
• This new feature will be rolled out for 85 countries’ users and in 39 languages.

Limitations of Phone Link for iOS (Windows 11 PC to iPhone)

• By using this new feature, users will not be able to access images, videos, and group messages by connecting their iPhone (iCloud) to Windows 11 PC.
• iPad users will not get this (Phone Link for iOS) feature. It means right now iPad users are not able to connect their Windows PC to their iPhone.
• Phone Link for iOS only work with iOS 14 and Windows 11.
• It will not work with versions prior to iOS 14. If the user using an older version of iOS prior to iOS 14 then it will not work at all.

How to Link Windows 11 PC to iPhone

• Users have to download the Phone Link App from the App Store.
• On the Bluetooth on both devices (Windows 11 PC or Laptop and iPhone).
• Now the user has to click on the option “Connect to iPhone” from Windows 11 PC or Laptop.
• After connecting Windows 11 PC to iPhone, now users can pick up calls and receive iMessages from a PC very easily.  Even users can also dial calls and give replies to received messages from PC too. Users don’t need to check their phones repeatedly.
• With the help of Wi-Fi, users can also connect their Windows 11 PC to iPhones.
• With the help of mobile data and instant hotspot also users can connect Windows 11 PC to iPhone.
