Microsoft has announced an update for its Bing AI Chat on mobile devices (iOS and Android devices). In this release (Bing Chat Widget), the company is also improving contextual chat for the mobile version of Microsoft Edge. iOS and Android users will be able to access the chatbot using a new widget. Conversations now will be synced between desktops and smartphones.

Mr. Jordi Ribas (CVP, Microsoft) has announced on his Twitter handle that “Excited to share a set of richer mobile experiences with a new Bing Chat widget, the ability to seamlessly continue conversations across platforms, and additional country and language support for voice input.

Microsoft has said in one of its blog posts that they are going to launch a new Bing chat widget this week. Both iOS and Android users will get this. Users can pin this widget to their home screen, giving them easy access to Bing Chat.

Edge Mobile App: Bing can now summarise web pages on mobile

Microsoft Edge for iOS and Android now includes the fantastic feature of Bing’s contextual chat, just like the Bing sidebar on the desktop version. With Compose, users can generate draft text based on their desired parameters. This includes factors such as the tone, format, and length of the message. Once generated, you have the freedom to edit and customize the text before sending it. The rollout of the new “Compose” button has already begun, and over the next two weeks, it will become available on all Android and iOS devices.
