As per the report, startup Tome paid version launching soon. AI storytelling startup Tome experienced rapid growth in its user base. Also, Tome is planning to introduce a paid version of features shortly.

Chief Executive Keith Peiris has said that the number of users of Startup Tome tripled in a single month. Seeing this, Startup Tome is preparing to bring its paid version soon. Tome is trying to launch its paid version in the coming weeks as soon as possible. According to Keith Peiris, AI products grow in popularity enormously.

Startup Tome is also adding document-to-presentation features powered by GPT-4, the latest foundational model released by OpenAI. The latest foundation model GPT-4 released by OpenAI is fully supported by Microsoft. By allowing users to convert a document with a maximum of 25 pages into AI-generated slides with text and images too very soon. This feature directly competes with Microsoft’s AI “Copilot”. Tome is also one of the many AI productivity startups that are in a race with big tech companies like Microsoft and Google which could change the way people pen and communicate at work in their daily routine life.

Peiris, the Co-Founder of Tome told that “It’s like a push into work and enterprise use cases for all of us after all the demand we’ve seen. We want to shape AI and aid at every part of the process of taking an idea into your head and then translating it into a compelling story.”

The growth of user and product launch came as San Francisco-based company raised $43 million in a funding round which was led by Lightspeed Venture Partners last month at a $300 million valuation.

Peiris said, Tome’s product is currently totally free of cost to use. But soon it will be in paid mode which costs about $10 a month for unlimited access to per user. Tome’s product serves many startup clients including college students.

Reed Hoffman, a Greylock partner who invested in Tome, who also sits on Microsoft’s board, said, “Startups move faster, innovate and deploy new technologies because they don’t have existing customers base”.
